Double-elim. for the SEC title?

    Is Sunday's 3 PM game against Ole Miss/Vandy double elimination for LSU? Or is it winner-take-all?

    It was in the year '03 or '04 I believe that they changed the format for the Championship game. If I recall correctly, they explained the change under the cover of how late teams can play on Sunday's.

    They followed the CWS format, which followed the Olympic format.

    i knew it followed the cws format, cause i didnt like it when the cws changed.

    but i always thought the cws followed the $$ format. (a set in stone televised championship game for tv revenue.)
