The link is longer than the article but it is none the less a good quick read. It is scary to think that Dorsey is hurting that much but still able to make a huge impact in the game. It is also scary to think he will play against Ar-kansas with his leg hurting bad. I don't think he should play, that he should rest for the SEC CG but i'm not Les Miles. What do you guys think. I know we will miss him but I believe that Jones and D-Mac will have a good game regardless of who is up front. We certainly don't need to pressure Dick, he will throw picks by himself. And knowing the brilliance of Nutt-job he will have Dick throw the ball 40 times instead of giving the rock to D-Mac. :geauxtige

we'll be fine. i know that article says it's dorsey's "leg" (as opposed to his knee), but he was taken out the game because of back spasms.

he'll be back, not 100% of course, but he'll be back and he'll play well in the game on friday.

    No big deal for Dorsey.

This is his 2nd consecutive year to play through pain and I think he enjoys it.

I know the guy is a trooper but at what point do you put a game before his health. No one but Dorsey knows how bad he really feels. I think it would benefit the team in the SEC CG by him resting this week, and it would definetly help his draft status by not getting injured before the draft. It sounds selfish but it is his future. I know that Les wont play Dorsey if he is injured but everyone who has strapped on the pads knows that real players will play until something breaks. :geauxtige

Does anyone have any doubts that he will be winning those awards in which he's a finalist?

    No doubts at all.

Furthermore, Dorsey will play Saturday. It's his last chance to play in Tiger Stadium and I don't think all 93,000+ of us could keep him on the bench if we tried. I'd hate to be whoever is opposite him on offense this Friday. :tigereye:

I'd gently ask Mr. Dorsey what he'd rather do. And that's what we'd do.

True. I wouldn't want to be the one to tell him he couldn't play. I wouldn't want people trying to kill me after I kick his ass:hihi: . :geauxtige

I would normally love the thought of being able to rest players, but we're playing for a NC now. If I were CLM, I wouldn't want to gamble that I'll still get to the BCSNCG with 2 losses.

Back spasms? I'm not buying it. He was limping bad right before he came out. I think he is still hurting from that chop block.
