I think we'd all agree that injuries in the second half of the year really kept Dorsey from playing to his full potential. Nevertheless, he may end up as the most honored Tiger of all time. Compare to other great seasons: 1959, Billy Cannon - Heisman Trophy, Walter Camp Trophy (nation's top back), SEC Player of the Year, named to 10 All American teams. 1971, Tommy Casanova - named to 6 All American teams. 2001, Josh Reed - Biletnikof Award (nation's top receiver), named to 7 All American teams 2007, Glenn Dorsey - Nagurski Award (nation's top defensive player), Lombardi Award (nation's top interior lineman), SEC Defensive MVP...finalist for 2 more awards that have yet to be presented. No All American teams released yet, but named to 5 in 2006. All this in spite of the chop block.
This guy may be the greatest player at LSU ever when this thing is done with. Not just ont he field but off the field as well.:tigereye: :geaux: you talking about being raised right.... this is the example.
