Kragthorpe couldn't do anything worthwhile with Louisville even when Brian Brohm returned for his senior year. Pretty obvious to me their prior success was due to Petrino.
If JJ doesn't learn to read defenses.progressions, and improves pocket awareness,it won't matter who the OC is at LSU. How did OU and USC do with first year QBs?
I believe that if it could be done it would be done. Meaning if a home was found for him he would be gone. On another front I think with all the movement going on, and since there is very little talk about it, Stud may not be a fixture on the Tigers sidelines for 2010. Just strange how all sorta, but not really got quite about him.
I don't like the fact that Tennessee picked Dooley because of his LA ties. Guys like Ogeron, now at USC, will always be trying to recruit LA talent because they know the area and have connections. I feel better when they are as far away as possible or at a lower tier program like LaTech that can't compete with us for recruits.
I don't think Dooley is a big recruiting threat to LSU, especially if Miles gets his act together. Gawga should be much more worried than LSU.
:geaux: Article in the Monroe News Star kinda indicated that as well. Seems like they may be looking more at an in-house hire from all indications. Time is of the essence though no matter who they decide on. :LSU231:
