Both Kipp and Amber were my grandmother's sister's grandchildren. Its really eerie when i look back at my family tree and see all the tragedy, but that happens in every family right?

As a side note, Tennessee now has 3 NFL players who have killed someone and basically got away with it. Has to be some kind of record. Foolmer sure recruited some classy characters. :rolleye33:

    Goodell just suspended him indefinitely.

How does Goodell deal with something like this. Does he ever play again?

i would think it would have to be treated like the leonard little case, i really dont think you can give this guy more than 8 games. First of all the guy ran into traffic, and the family was ok with the settlement, i don't think the nfl should have the right to punish someone just because he got a light sentence. there has already been a precedent set with little, so i would think that 8 games should be the penalty. but knowing goddell, he will probably suspend him for a year at least.

I dont mind him coming down hard on players. As long as he is fair with it.

Goodell wasnt in charge during the Leonard Little situation and this is a new era for the NFL when it comes to player discipline. The owners have charged Goodell with strict enforcement of anything that gives the league a black eye and players driving drunk causing deaths fits that description. Doesnt matter if the guy walked out in front of the car.

You have to remember everything that was going on when Goodell was hired. The owners were eager to get the league and player crimes out of the negative headlines. Goodell is doing exactly what the owners want and for the most part the NFLPA is in agreement.

Stallworth probably sits the entire year. I think Goodell has been very consistent in handing out punishment. Yes its harsh but he has been consistently harsh on every player getting sideways with the law.
