The part I don't understand is that DS says he flashed his lights at him. So he had time to flash his lights but not enough time to stop. It sounds like he pulled the aggressive move of flashing the lights while not slowing down and misjudged how close he would pass by the guy. That's one of my least favorite moves in the aggressive driving handbook. I find it arrogant and obviously dangerous.
Poor attempt but I get your point. I will hold them both in the same regards. Where their time in the salad bin factors in are from the lawyers, the accused denial of the events, and their attempt at restitution, the legal system only carries from there on. A million drunk drivers continue to drive the streets today. A murderer geauxs home cause the DA failed to follow proper procedure. Thats your legal system. There are far more effed up lawyers out there then the legal system they are certified to represent.
The attempt is not poor at all, if you are equating a dog to a human then, stop eating beef and all other animals that you enjoy at your dinner table. The criminality was in the betting on dog fights, fighting, and killing the dogs. None of that equates to killing a human.
To be nitpicky, that is not what you said in your first post. But your overall point is right. 2 years in the Federal Pen for dogs, 24 days (good behavior) for drunk driving and killing a human. Looking at how wonky those outcomes are, Plexico is gonna 1 week probation, a $50,000 award in his favor.
That is your opinion. My opinion is that you cannot equate a dog to a cow. There are plenty of people out there that deserve to die. The law shares a similarity in both, the nature of deceased animal, and the nature of the deceased human. My point was how much time you do depends on by whom and how the matter is handled and how those guys manipulate to achieve what goes against your beliefs. What you feel is right gets shot down in court every day, typically by the laws of procedure and not the laws for animal or human rights. What I agreed with was that your law in Florida that helped the family may be the same kind of law that allows humans to eat dogs in the sunshine state. Bear Grylls may agree.
If you eat off of the roach coach in Southern California, theres a good chance you have had some dog. I can equate a dog to a cow. They both are animals and are not equal to humans in my opinion regardless of the law. Its a little hypocritcal to me to stand up for one animal and not the other. But thats your opinion that you can do so. :thumb: Just doesnt fly with me. But im sure you know what a dog feels compared to what a cow feels right?
I love strippers. They wont chew your furniture and they shut up and geaux away when you tell them to. It's all in the easy maintenance.
My cousin Amber was killed by a drunk driver 6 years ago, this guy that killed her orphaned a 6 month old little girl, who is 6 now. Dude was friends with a very well off family in Central Louisiana, got ZERO jail time, and a 5000 dollar fine. If you can afford a great attorney, you can get off for anything.
