Yes, they all do it and it doesn't make it any less sad. If LSU had the #1 class, we would have the banner as well, and it would be just as sad, had we lost 6 games the previous year. Bama will likely have more great classes while Saban is there, also because of a void of talent, waiting to be replaced. However, it is just one more example of bama nation's rabid nature and sense of entitlement. Going hand in hand with statements like "LSU is sliding into mediocrity" which have been trumpeted for two years now. The same statements were made when Saban was hired. I think most LSU fans can acknowledge that Saban is a good recruiter/coach but it is not a two-way street. The fact that we have owned them for five years straight makes their crowing about anything, rather hollow and pathetic.
I hear Shreveport is getting real excited about the prospect of the National Recruiting Champs coming back to town next December.
