Ding Ding Ding WE HAVE A WINNER. I could research Tiga's responses on a couple 100(s) different topics on the board and at some point there is one post in each that says "Ya da ya da ya da ya da I'd fuck her" or words to that effect. I aint knocking it. Quite the opposite I'm acknowledging greatness. Using sarcasm of course. What else would you use.
So a committee of 50 delegates (2 from each state) are selected to convene and write the rules of the convention. So with 90 plus percent of the debates seemingly being trump our Cruz delegates, the rules will be written to favor their nominations.
Keep reading on tos that the vast majority of conservatives & GOP are voting for someone other than Trump. Who exactly? These are the current, actual voting numbers. www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/republican_vote_count.html Trump: 8.197 mill. votes Cruz: 6.263 mill. votes Kasich: 2.960 mill. votes Trump up by nearly 2 million votes over Cruz & 5 million over Kasich, & this is before NY. 2 million is not a small or insignificant number, especially in primary voting. Haven't followed the Dem primaries closely, but here is the raw voting data: (Hillary only running against 1 opponent) Tier 1 Hillary: 9.350 mill. Trump: 8.197 mill. Tier 2 Bernie: 6.947 mill. Cruz: 6.263 mill. Tier 3 Kasich: 2.960 Since delegates no longer "count" apparently, the raw data voting is all we have at this point. Hope Preibus & GOPe don't drop the soap in Cleveland.
Trump is going to have trouble getting to 1237. That is why his camp is scrambling to get the rules changed. If the rules stick the great delegate sell-off will begin and Trump goes down.
He's going down.....the writing is on the wall. Further, I think the party is playing Cruz like a fiddle because they despise him worse than Trump but he makes for a nice pawn. Real question is who will they select at the convention. Logic would say Kasich but it could be anybody.
