We're still way ahead of Tennessee !!! :D.

I'm hoping that this one is a rumor....or can be passed off as one....Maybe Dexter Pratt stayed in Allen's dorm room and forgot something. Or those Florida thieves dropped it near the locker room..

i think that the main cause of LSU's lack of running game was having no developed fullback allen is the next big time LSU fullback i think (assuming hes still there)

Allen no longer on the LSU football team

Just read it on another site. Seems official. Heads are rolling these days...

Well, that sucks. Is it for the same reason as everyone was saying yesterday?

Hopefully Worle is good as his high school clips would indicate.

I see FB by committee next year at least to start.

    Worle
    Stampley
    Dugas
Theriot (Will be interesting to see how he does at this position)

I also think it would have been a committee with Allen on the roster as well because he still has weight issues and has been in the doghouse for that reason and probably was for this reason as well.

Look when I posted that yesterday, I was hoping it was erroneous information but based on the source I received it from I knew pretty well it was legitimate. I didn't like posting it which was one reason I phrased it in the form of a question. In addition to my regualr job, I am a journalist, so citing something without at least two sources is something I wouldn't do in print. But this is a fan forum so I felt it was okay based on just one source.

My opinion is that while losing Allen hurts, I'm not too upset over losing him. Don't get me wrong, I hate that it is for weed and hope the young man gets his act together. I hope he realizes that he just lost his football career because he needed to smoke weed and get high. Not the brightest decisions ever.

On the flip side of this, it will open up another scholarship for Miles and Co. Louisiana is loaded with talent and big-time recruits so the more schollies availble the more top flight La. kids LSU can sign.

I wonder what Urban Meyer would have done in this situation....especially if it was someone like Spikes.

Self imposed benching for the first ten minutes of the Appalachian State game?
Banishment from next year's orange and blue spring game?
    Writing Tebow's "pledge" 100 times?
