they just cut eric moulds as well. david carr can't be far behind. packers want randy moss and the raiders want a 1st round pick. reportedly they countered with qb aaron rodgers. pretty strange. as expected though, porter nor moss will be targets of jamarcus if he ends up a raider.
Where was he sitting? I saw him pulling into the parking lot in his huge duelly, but didn't see him in the game.
He announced something during a timeout....then he walked up the walkway near the band and I shook his hand on the way up....
CParso, where did you hear this? I can't find anything about it at the Chronicle, though there is an article about them cutting Payne, Wiegert, and not re-signing Moulds. I fully expect them to cut him, even if it hasn't happened just yet. If the Texans really did cut DD/DW, I'm sure the front office wasn't thrilled about it, but that knee injury may be career-threatening. They also weren't too thrilled about the way it went down last year. Doctors and specialists kept saying the knee was fine, and some discomfort was normal. Musharraf said it hurt too much. Pretty odd circumstances, really. I'm surprised they cut Eric Moulds. His numbers last year were terrible, but it's tough to say how much that was on him. Andre Johnson benefitted greatly by having him there.
i read it at a couple of places and now the articles have vanished. what is the word on carr? isnt he near the end of his contract?
he was in the plaza the 1st half shaking hands like the small-sport athletes do during the bball games, then the trivia question was about him, so he came on the court and read it. Funny that they called him Davis and not Williams at the game.
 Well, he SHOULD be, except McNair gave him a three year extension before last season. Yes, a THREE year extension. His original contract gave the option of a two year or three year and he opted for worst. I think they're still shopping him around, and a trade will almost have to be made. The players are starting to openly comment on Carr, pointing out that he's just not a leader. NOTE: If you're an NFL team that's evaluating Carr for a trade, please disregard all of my comments. I'm an idiot, which I guess is implied since I've watched every snap of the Texans since day 1.
It does appear the Texans will be be getting a new car. Honestly, David Carr needs a change if he is going to do anything in the league. I think he is still a good QB but has "stagnated" with the Texans. I've seen a couple of projections with BQ to the Texans. If so, I hope Dommanick gets traded / released. I can't pull for a team with BQ on it, especially if he has "issues" with our man Jamarcus.
