Seriously R KANSAS beat Ole Piss today on the road and it wont be like a spoiler game , Rebs wont have that drive to win, Kelly is easy to fluster
I think we can win out. Ole Miss on the road will be tough. They have the only d line capable of slowing Fournette down of the last 3. Just need Dak to go out of his mind next week
There are worse things than living in the tenure of the winningest coach in LSU's history. Brother, I freaking understand. Part of me would be okay with going 1-13 year in and year out if our lone victory was to Bama. We still haven't avenged the 2011 NC game, and I'm scared that Saban will retire before we ever do. It's horrible. But the endless defeatism and pessimism brings only delight to Bama fans.
I too think LSU should drop out of the top 15. You can't get bitch slapped like they did tonight and go hide behind mommy and cry and still be in the top 10.
Who cares? This was the game. 2nd 3rd in the West who gives a fuck, anyone gonna beat their chest if that happens? Knowing what you witnessed tonight? This soft ass team?
Please sit back and look at the whole picture...the SEC West is heavily weighted and the "Committee" takes that into consideration, think about it they set LSU @ 2 so that when Bama won all the bitching would go away about TCU not in top 5 from ESPN What the loss means for LSU: Losing on the road to a top-five team doesn't put LSU out of the playoff running by any means, though the 14-point defeat will set them back in the perception department. The shine on Fournette and his teammates took a significant hit Saturday night. But a lot can happen in the next three weeks. Alabama could struggle on the road at Mississippi State, for instance. If that happens and LSU wins out against Arkansas, Ole Miss and Texas A&M, LSU will have a spot in Atlanta for the conference championship game. That said, a lot has to change between now and then. Fournette and his offensive line need to get back on track and the defense needs to get tougher up front against the run. IMHO we would be slated for the Sugar Bowl if only a one loss Ill state what the reasoning was: Bama beats FU for SEC win Sugar typically takes the SEC winner but now Bama goes to playoff bowl instead Sugar never takes the SEC loser and that leaves a one loss LSU choice found the Sugar link The Allstate Sugar Bowl secured its future through January 2026 with the announcement that it would host the champions of the Southeastern and Big 12 Conferences in eight of the 12 years between 2014 and 2025. If the champion of either or both leagues is selected for the College Football Playoff, a replacement team from that conference will play in the Sugar Bowl. In the four seasons that the Sugar Bowl is not hosting the Big 12 and the SEC (2014, 2017, 2020, 2023), it will serve as a College Football Playoff Semifinal. GEAUX TIGERS! ps Im ok with not having to be #1 as there was this time we never were even ranked and I still rooted for LSU....hmmm did the same foe the Saints too must be something about LA upbringing
Losing to a top 10 ten team on the road isn't the same as getting exposed and getting your ever loving ass whipped after 2 weeks to prepare on national tv when your "Heisman" running back goes for 37 yards.
Dominated in every phase? Last time I checked, the only unit that got dominated was the offensive line. That's obviously going to lose you the game, but hyperbole never strengthened an argument.
