I was able to watch the Florida game in 97 from the field. After the Herb Tyler td where he jumped in celebration it was the loudest noise I have ever heard. It was completely deafening. So yes, it will affect the other team.
I was at all of them. When they announced USC lost, I agree, that was the loudest moment at a game I attended. A close second would be when we blocked Bama's field goal attempt in '08. A guy that used to work with my dad was there and he couldn't believe how loud it got.
I saw that too but I was going to let him make it! And last year when UF was in town - CRAZY LOUD!!!!
WVU may not get the full effect. All of the games mentioned are big time conference rivals in pivotal games. I hope we don't let them down.
Well if its true that WVU purchased 30,000 tickets than they definitley wont get the full effect. I dont believe that!
Right! Atleast SEC players know how to respond to questions like that. You dont reply that you are gonna go into TS and quiet our crowd - IT DOESNT HAPPEN! You Say something like "Its going to be crazy, we just have to be prepared mentally to try and play past the noise" Devine has never faced anything like what he is going to face Saturday!
