Reid needs tackling and coverage for dummies. Biggest drop off i can recall. I think he misses #7s tutelage more than anyone else. Sam has to go and will. Too much money. He's not Leinart who could afford the risk. Or blondie.

Occasionally, the call of unfinished business is a powerful force. Just like we're struggling with the what ifs, they may also have those feelings.

Of course, for millions of dollars, I'm sure I could live with some what ifs.

Just not the what if, during my swan song, my knee does a Lattimore. The ultimate what if.

I think Mingeaux stays. Still learning the game and really, he is only gonna get better so I think even he knows another year of seasoning will raise his stock. He'd be setting the bar pretty high particularly if Sam moves on. Kelvin Sheppard-ish

If their point in staying is to defeat BAMA next year, then I suggest they move on rather than face the impending disappointment.

I fully believe that they can defeat BAMA. Last night's play was a testament of their ability to take down BAMA. If it weren't for Les Miles' stupidity, they would have beat BAMA last night. What I do not believe is that Les Miles will find a way avoid the many unthinkable in-game decisions that more likely than not will dampen the players' fantastic effort, no matter how great it may be. Still, major props to any players that choose to stay.

Anyone see him as an NFL defensive end? More like a 3-4 outside backer right?

If you are talking about Mingo he is a little light for the NFL which is why there is a sliver of a chance he comes back. Another year to add much needed weight and get better. I think we were lucky to have Sam this year, don't think there is any chance he returns but I will continue to hope.
