Personally IMO, Randle is well known amongst the sec teams in how good he is, but i'm not sure how well known he is outside the sec, there are some very good recievers comming out this year, I think he will come back another year and work his way into a late first early second round pick, recievers do not tend to go reall high in drafts, it's usually QB's, Tackles, RB's, then recievers/tight ends. What will really help him though in the NFL is hise size and physicall style of play.

Also his blocking ability on the outside is greatly underrated.

It's what's going to make him so coveted.

From what I gather, he's told people he's coming back. His draft stock is only middling. He's so unknown that if you google, he doesn't even show up on most lists. It's not his fault, because his stats do the talking, but LSU is not known for passing so he gets overlooked. I even saw two lists that didn't have him but had Shep listed.

Right now, he's below: Alshon Jeffrey (USCe), Justin Blackmon (Okie St.), Michael Floyd (Notre Dame), Mohammed Sanu (Rutgers), Justin Criner (Arizona), and several others who play in more receiver friendly offenses. He'll serve himself well by staying another year and working on his speed and his vertical leap...most importantly, the vertical leap. You can't be 6'4 and be a 4.5-4.6 guys if you can't jump. His vertical needs work.

He could go as high as the 2nd round this year if receivers are flying off the board, but that's unlikely. It's a good year for QBs and receivers, but skipping your senior year to be a 3rd or 4th round pick is not a good look unless you're in trouble (i.e. Stevan Ridley).

Isn’t Rivers a red shirt this year? So that sophomore when Mett leaves (assuming he doesn’t leave early). Even if he isn’t he’ll be a Jr. when he leaves with a senior year to play. That is plenty of time to show the scouts something to get drafted…at least it was for Matt Flynn and Sanchez.

I haven't heard much on rivers. He's got the background. He's 6'5 so that good. The question is how moble is he and can he throw

He is staying , he would be stupid to leave . He need to stay so he can improve his numbers and be a better pick next year . this year he is a 4th are 5th round pick at best with the wide outs going in this year . Mett will make him look like a Justin Blackmon

He is 6'7" and has been running the scout team les is very high on this guy and it would break his heart if he transferred. I think he already burned his redshirt year bit he will have the opportunity to compete for the starting job. I can not wait for the purple gold game to see who shines brightest!
