Does the 36-0 drubbing by Bama put Tubberville on the hot seat?

Croom is gone, mainly for how they played today vs hated arch rival Ole Miss. It was perception that Ole Miss had greatly outdistanced themselves from MSU, just in one season.

Now we get the same result from the Auburn/Bama game. Now is there the perception that the gap is just as wide?

    What say you?

    Yes.

Any chance he goes to Clemson or will their interim coach stick around?

Maybe he jumps to MSU. :hihi:

Given that Tuberville already had to jettison his OC mid-season, he's gotta be running out of political capital at this point. Then again, I don't think very many people expected Bama to get this good this fast. Come to think of it, his situation isn't really that different than Miles on the offensive side of the ball, but now he faces big time recruiting problems. I'd say he gets another year to turn things around since he's had some very good teams at Auburn, but another season like this and/or Iron Bowl embarrassment and he's out the door.

Bama is ranked #1 and the war chickens have won 5 or 6 in a row, something had to give. I don't think the totally expected beat down today changes much, he was already on the hot seat.

My guess would have been Clemson, and it still might be, but the jury is out if the interim will stick.

If I had to guess, I say he gets the Clemson job in the coming days.

I would expect if he wants to... his job is there for atleast another season. But if they have the same results or worse... he'll be out.
