That's what I was hinting around at. I still remember an interview before football started last year where Alleva was bragging about having the best player in each respective sport on campus. Just awful.

I'd be happy if he didn't finish the weekend

I would have rejoiced if he hadn't started the season. Money talks!

I voted yes because I'm sure he will. I understand how disrupting letting a coach go in season can be but that may have to be the case. I just think we have to cut out the tumor that is Miles.

I think Les finishes the regular season. If it's another disappointment, an announcement will be made at the conclusion of the regular season. They may let him resign and coach the bowl game. But they need to be free to pursue coaches at the end of the regular season. I think more than 3 losses and he's gone. 10-2 probably saves his job. I'm not sure what happens if they go 9-3..

I hope Houston doesn't make the Playoffs, because that could make it difficult to close the deal with Tom Herman. I doubt we could afford to wait and risk not getting Herman. Then the administration would have egg on their face, and all the top tier candidates would be gone.

How would you react if Miles were fired and Cam became interim HC. Then as the season moved along they moved to more of a spread and made some noise. I can dream can't I?

I predict a new wrinkle next week. Miles will use the victory formation in the first quarter.

The time to get Herman was last year. He's not going anywhere now. He's got too good a thing going at the moment. If he goes anywhere, it will be to Texas and the only way he goes there is if they offer him way more than he's worth.
