No. The time to make the move was years ago. Then, last year when he was out the door LSU Tiger Nation wanted him back. Fine. The decision was made. Live with the decision. I said years ago that Miles was a high school coach. NOW, he deserves to complete his tenure at LSU on his own terms. Tiger Nation knew his strengths and weaknesses and wanted him back.
I agree Jean...Won with a team he barely had to coach in 2004, won in 2007 with a team that laid their hearts out in 2007. If you look at the records since you'll see double digits wins from 2010 to 2013. As I was told in the military, one AW SHT ruins a lot of atta boys! 2011 was an AW SHT.
many showed up to see his last game and show him the respect he's earned. so of course emotions got the best of fans who like Les miles the man. especially after it dragged out for so long and there was. guilt which set in. it's like breaking up with someone. you feel bad and still may bang her on occasion but it doesn't mean you want her back. same with Les. but the idiots in charge had a job to do and failed again.
It's not fair to take away from his accomplishments to cheapen his success. he coached those teams and inspired them to succeed. he gets the credit.. same. with his shitty losses.
