What good does sitting for a year do? He can be on campus in the spring starting to learn the offense and he's not a freshman needing time to mature. I don't think he should walk in and start day one but I do think they should work him into the mix as much as possible. Getting reps and adjusting to the speed of the game is much more valuable to his development then him sitting on the sidelines.
if they wont start the guy, theres no need to recruit him...the whole purpose of bringing this guy in is to improve the qb position...honestly , if i was mettenberg, i would take my services elsewhere...cause i just dont see les miles benching his son jordan jefferson..or nephew jarrett..
