The thing is that now that the play has been run, it's on film for opposing teams to study. You keep something like that and break it out in a close ball game versus a conference foe in the 4th quarter not at the end of a blowout versus a non-conference opponent. That this is my only complaint should tell you how happy I am with this game.
What's impressive about Miles is the timing in bringing on the trick plays....when you least expect it:thumb::milesmic:
You know I love them, it will make teams a little more aprehensive about blocking punts, etc. I am troubled why Les went with a trick play that last time, pass off the punt formation. I wouldn't want to rub salt in an open wound and I certainly wouldn't want someone doing that to us. Did that concern anyone or am I being sensitive?
I guess he didn't have enough fun in the game; wants to use up some unspent ammo:hihi: Actually the way I see it, he wants to maintain possession and kill more time such that GT has no chance of coming back. It's almost like going for the jugulars. LOVE IT!
I think CLM bet the over on the game and LSU's defense was so good that Georgia Tech didn't score enough to cover the bet... So LSU had to pick up Ga Tech's slack.
