What about the players? Do they deserve an apology for the way their AD shit on the last 2 games of the season? I feel it was an unneeded distraction for the Ole Miss game, hell might be why there was such a good turnout for the Aggie game. Maybe it was a ruse to put asses in seats LOL
What are you talking about? Was Alleva out shopping for players too? Trying to get them a better coach isn't exactly doing them an injustice.
The apology should be directed at the fans. The AD comes out man's up and says sorry this happened. The media sees the AD fronting the issue, he looks little better, the program looks a little better, and we get more closure and move on.
You don't think that this shit show caused an unneeded distraction? Look how Georgia handled it. No one said a word. I'm not saying it caused LSU to lose to Ole Miss, but you can bet it was a distraction.
I don't know about that but I do know I will support him. Yep, may not agree with everything he'll do and I'm sure he'll piss me off a lot sometimes but he's our coach so I'm with him and want to see him excel.
This is real life shit. Sorry players and coaches real life will happen in the real world. It's a part of doing business. College football is big time business. Better get used to no one giving you an apology when you are distracted or you lose your job for underperforming or have your feelings hurt. Deal with it and learn that's how reality works. Thats the best thing you can do for all involved. If you get an apology consider it lagniappe but don't expect it.
Great point. Same can be said for getting compliments (I got the right one, negro) for doing your job.
True and I don't mean some big public thing. But a closed door meeting, from the AD to the players maybe not an apology but a show of support. I mean if this cloud is going to hang over this team for another season it's not going to do anyone any good.
Anytime you apologize you are admitting that you committed a wrongdoing and that could be used against you in court if the situation would escalate to litigation.
