Only if you're looking at the number. Sorta like Bama claiming 20 National titles when some of them come from the Tuscaloosa Kiwanis Club. Dissect the season game by game and it wasn't very pretty. Without Fournette, we lose a lot of those games. We barely beat a 4-8 Syracuse team playing with a 5th string walk on QB. This year, outside of the brilliance of #7, was arguably worse than last year.

I read/heard somewhere (maybe here??) that Alexander may have scuttled the Jimbo thing as early as Wednesday of last week. I tend to doubt it but if true then St. Les played everyone all weekend long.

It's a hell of allot better than losing them. Dinardo had three decent years, hired Tepper, and had a top 10 preseason ranking.

What were we that year? 3-8? Now that sucks!

But we live in today dont we...

LIke I have always said. We can be fine with 9-3/8-4, but stop saying LSU is elite. That isn't.

We are a good program, nothing more. If you want to be elite, you cannot be happy with how this season ended.

No apologies are needed to Les Miles. And I say that because the stadium and players made it clear to Les that they support him. Apologizing to him will have little significance or meaning at this point. But apologies to the public should be made by Alleva, and anyone who ran their mouths through this charade. As I said in another thread, if this stuff hadn't leaked, we'd be reading and discussing new coaches now.

Most of us expected this. It was not a great shock. Our Dline is not as great as it use to be. We have not trained QB's properly since Jimbo left. I predicted three losses with my fingers crossed. Did I expect playoffs....hell no! Will I bleed purple and gold no matter what? Hell yes!!

I NEVER said Elite. Do not speak for me. Please!!!

Keep in mind over the last 15 years we have been in three National Championship games and won two of them. And the Saints won a SuperBowl. I would say that is pretty damn awesome!!!!

It is. So Saints fans and LSU fans should just shut it. We had our 15 mins.

If you really want to do some crying just become an Ole Miss fan and Geaux Lions. 2003, 2007, 2009 and 2011 is allot more than 15 minutes. Never thought I would see the Saints win a superbowl. National Championships do not come easy. It is sure nice not to relive the 1958 championship when that is all we had. Yes I would rather our fans shut it as opposed to crying.
