I agree and I think Miles is a master of playing this card. The 2007 SECCG presser "damn fine football team/have a good day" was done to motivate his team and get the voters attention on that game. The talking heads are getting everyone in the top 4 to 5 facetime...to state their case. Makes for good TV. It appears the only coach who isnt lobbying is Coach P at Boise.

 

Oh hell I'll play. Could it be that the NCAA "suggestion" that aubie should sit cam for the uga game be coming back to life? What if that "warning" was because they knew all along what was coming and maybe wanted to not have it so, how do I say, complicated. Is it far fetched to believe that the NCAA is waiting to see the outcome of this weeks game because the hammer is just waiting to fall? Oh how precious that would be. Geaux Tigers. Some more of this needs to come out before this weekend, especially if Iron Bowl falls in our favor. Will make my Saturday at War Memorial all that more enjoyable if we are playing for ................. ? and Soooooo Pig Soeeeeeee is playing for ?

I've been alluding to what Bhelms claim is all week. As I have said this weekend could turn out to mean more to Tiger fans than we know. Sit back and enjoy the ride.

Someone that I have a close connection with told me this last Sunday. With their connections to the program I'm inclined to believe it true. I will say they told me that it needs to come to light, but Bama has to beat Au, and we need to beat Ark for it to happen.

 

fun to talk about it i guess. i don't think anything will happen this season, but i'm sure the SEC office has gotten in Les's ear about talking up the program just to cover all bases.

 

Coming back to this now after reading several stories in the media. On almost all sports media outlets that would comment on this topic, there are all of the sudden several passive reports of a 1 loss LSU being the best 1 loss team in the country, and several hints at the Cam story breaking either just before the Iron bowl or soon after. I believe that between that and Vegas's game point spread of the Iron Bowl, the media and Vegas know something.

There is no reason for the media to be hinting of this possibility unless they have some info they are possibly sitting on. It was mentioned several weeks ago that LSU is in it's position as a BCS buffer should something occure to rock the top of the standings. Well that rock may happen this weekend.

 

They are talking up LSU because we beat Alabama and shut up the critics. It's nothing more than that.

 

What difference does it make if Bama beats AU? AU would still go to the SECCG...they've already locked that up.

Now as for LSU beating Arky, yeah...that needs to happen if we want ANY chance at a BCS game...and will likely secure it.
