Does it matter that he is black?

I have seen Southern U play a few times when they are on TV against an SEC opponent. Also have seen Grambling and Mississippi Valley State. There are more white and Hispanic players than black on all those teams. I don't know if Hank Aaron excelled in other sports as a youth but Reggie Jackson was a very good running back at Arizona State. In today's world he would have played in the NFL instead of the MLB. Also Dave Winfield was an All American in college in football, baseball and basketball. Which league would he have played in today?

 

So with DN being German, Kevin Love is the only white American superstar in the NBA. And he is the nephew of Mike Love of the Beach Boys, the quintessential white boy group of the 60's

 

I was pulling for Wisconsin because they were all white dudes. I'm not ashamed to admit it. Just like if there were a hockey team full of black dudes I'd be pulling for them. I'd pull for an Asian in NASCAR, and a team full of Mexicans in football.

 

What if there were a bunch of straight guys on the Russian figure skating team?
