Does it have to be black or white?

This confuses me. As a forum owner I understand the idea of wanting to offset costs of things, but it should never be done at the expense of the members. If you open a forum the bills are yours to pay, not the members.

While there's almost no traffic on mine... yet, I pay all the bills out of my pocket with no expectation of the members to pony up their share. It's my site, and my love of LSU that drove me to create it. And why charge for a chat room? It costs nothing to keep up and running... at least the live chat option on mine doesn't cost anything, it's just an add on feature that I can turn off and on for game times.

I signed up over there a long time ago, but they're bat crap crazy, and being spammed to help pay their bills showed me what they were about. Not to mention you're not allowed to have your own train of thought without being ridiculed for it if it doesn't meet their criteria of acceptance.

 

Trust me, I can speak for tiga.

 

2003 wasn't so much the impetus as that was well in the rearview. Honestly, LSU was never on my football radar prior to that. I'm not even sure how the whole fanbase bullshit started. For me, my issue wasn't with LSU. I thought we should have been in that game, not Oklahoma. Didn't make sense to bitch about a game that never happened.

We had a bet about Joe McKnight (RIP Joe) but I was posting here before he committed. Tiga was already posting on the USC site and that was probably due to the 2003 thing. I'm pretty sure he didn't think I'd ever come and post over here.....so I did. There have been some great visiting posters, Hawkeye and Deceks come to mind but shittydomer was a dick.

Perhaps no Tiger has been as well received by other fanbases as LSUFreek. Loved everywhere.

 

If I like you, I'm protective. Just me. I'll defend LaSalle in a hot minute if necessary and we don't agree on a whole lot.

 

Deceks still posts on that site we never talk about.

My memory is terrible but pretty sure there was a dare involved. You were dared to make a post. Seems like ai recall you being all silly (in a good way) and saying (via pm) "See, I did it." I'll take your word on whatever you say though.
