True, but 'what if' he fumbled, what if he threw a pick, what if he ran the wrong play. What if he made that play but made a mistake later . The what if scenarios can go on and on,

We can agree to disagree but you have never seen a backup qb put in a game to spark an offense or to settle down a starter?
There is no doubt JL needs to slow down a bit.
This is where I'm coming from.
The problem is that we will never know.
Btw, Ohio State did this same thing with Terrell Pryor during the USC game on.

So what if the outcome is the same, at least you fired all your guns.
We don't know what we have with JJ until you play him but we sure know what we have in JL.
I'm not trying to rip JL apart either, I am blaming the coaches because most coaches would've made a change somewhere this season.
Maybe that will be next week, who knows.

Yes it is. I just don't see one play changing the outcome of the entire game, being that, that play was with plenty of time left on the clock where alot of things could've happened, good or bad

Is it possible that Jefferson could play worse than Lee? The game was close, I imagine the coaches felt like putting a freshman in during a tough situation was more risky than hoping that Lee had got whatever out of his system. That said, I really hope we see Jefferson next week.

lol well would you want someone who has worked with the offense and experience to "try" and win you the game, or throw in a wild card and pray for the best.

I'm sure JJ would have played if he was part of the gameplan, but he probably wasn't for one reason or another. You tweak game plans during the game but you don't change it, especially when it is working, coaching can't help crappy QB's lol

I agree, I hope JJ plays next week as well, JL sucks @ss, he had his chance. I'm just saying you shouldn't do it in the middle of a close game

I disagree that CGC called simple plays in the first qtr to boost his confidence. He called over the middle passes, and some screens, the same ones JLee has thrown pick sixes all year long with, in the first qtr. Later, he simplified things and focused on his strengths with sideline routes. Once again, first quarter and fourth quarter (and OT) calls at pivotal times actually costs us the game - now, granted if he had a competent QB the calls would not have looked so bad. I would have liked to see them just give JJ a try - it could not have hurt JLee's confidence any worse, could it? Give JJ a shot, if it does not work, then JLee had a few plays on the sideline to watch and see things from a different perspective and have a chance to settle down. Seems like mostly positives to me.
