Does anyone have a real feel for the odds of seeing more of J. Lee against Tenn?

A few plays to let JJ clear his head and mop up duty if we have a comfy lead.
I think we beat Tenn. with JJ. I think the first time we see JL is in the Swamp and we need to come from behind. Unfortunately Florida will be in nickel by then and have their ears pinned back and it may not be pretty.

This is what I am afraid of.

because it doesnt just waste the talent level we have this year....what about next year???

Are we just going to throw another QB into the fire and hope he can make something out of nothing using GC and his non-exsistant offensive scheme?

I think you are right and that down right f'n sucks!

No dis-respect to WVU defense, alot of talent and speed and the 3-3-5 look tey gave us cause A LOT of problems, but we havent seen speed on defense yet.

Oh but we will, we will see lightning speed against UF, and if they can move the football against Bama on offense next saturday, the perfect season killers - The Florida Gators will do it to us again!

No he will not change! I have supported him for a long time but I have had it. He is too stubborn/hard headed to see that we need to make a change and give Lee a chance. If it does not wokr then put JJ back in but atleast give Lee some time other than hand off the ball at the end of the game with a token pass to show that he still can throw a ball. :sob:

What if J-Lees one pass was picked and taken to the house, and LSU loses 21-20?

CLM would really be on the hot seat!

I think a I formation with JJ working off a strong running game with play action would work. Of course that is not what we are running but a old school base system could push this team to the top.

Why doesn't Les just take over and put it in?

You can what if both sides to death. The fact is JJ isn't getting it done, we are winning with special teams and defense only. Unless you are ready to simply forfeit games against better opponents like Bama and Florida you have to try and fix the offense.

What if JJ could find an open receiver down filed for a TD?

What If JJ did not under throw the 2 receivers at the end of the game?

What if Lee would have waited to throw the pass to an open receiver down field for at TD?

We could play WHAT IF all day long!

All I am saying is we dont know if he does not get the chance to play meaningful time.

Not really.. If he puts Lee in and Lee stinks it up, at least Miles has the crowd off his back by trying what everyone has been screaming for. If Lee comes in and plays well, then we've found our QB.

But Miles would rather let Jefferson stink it up, then pat him on the butt and tell him how good he's doing so as not to hurt his feelings. Meanwhile, telling us all that "We'll have to consider #12 at key points in the game, but I like Jefferson's effort.. He's getting better".

    Fact check:
Jefferson has just 20 more yards than Patrick Peterson this season.
Jefferson has more int's than TD's so far.
Jefferson just threw for his third straight sub-100 yard game.
Jefferson's passes aren't crisp and are often thrown nose-down.
Jefferson still holds the ball WAY too long while making reads.

My question is, how bad is bad enough to sit his butt down and let someone else try. I don't care if it's Lee or Miles himself. JJ simply is not getting the job done... Patrick Peterson, Kelvin Sheppard, and Drake Nevis deserve the credit for the 4 wins we have right now.
