Does anyone else feel like we didn't really lose?

More frustrating to me is the continued lack of an offense. You can only run the ball so much, eventually teams will start putting 11 in the box.

 

We threw enough to keep them off-balance, but we didn't catch enough to win. The fumble should have been enough to win, however.

 

It just seems that with CLM vs Alabama we will absolutely find a way to lose. Miles is becoming Saban's little B.

 

Dumb thing to say. We beat them twice in close games in the last 5 seasons, they beat us twice in close games in the last 5 seasons. And neither of our close wins were due to officiating.

I guess every board has a go-to source for melodramatic negativity though.

 

When you lose 4 in a row it's hard to see past that. Especially the first one of the 4. Saban has owned him since New Orleans. I don't care if they win by 1 a loss is a loss.

 

Yes. I believe the close ones would have had more separation and LSU would have won all of them. The blowouts? I don't know. Maybe. The defense was weak then too. It would probably be a 2 loss season even if the offense was on it's game.

I am calling all accounts next year. Coaches and players. There will be no exodus of juniors. There can be no excuse and no rationalization of the situation by the apologists.

 

we didnt almost beat miss st. stop saying that lie. we never had a lead. we were never tied except 0-0. we were at midfield when the game ended. thats not almost winning. could we have if the game just so happened to be a few extra minutes? yes.

but we also may have won if 4th qtr tds were worth 10 instead of 6. or if purple teams get 6 more points added to their scores.

and yes, it feels like we lost. it feels like we lost 100 games. then got run over by a truck. that les miles was driving.
