I agree. I would love it if we could play in a cream puff conference division and schedule cupcake non-conference games, rest up all season and only have to get up for two games that could put us in the NC.
You can never predict when the Grammar Nazi will appear! (Seriously, "moot/mute" and "lose/loose" are the two things that jump out at me the most, but if you go through my posts you'll likely find typos/mistakes as well. No harm intended, just pointing it out in case anyone didn't realize the word was actually spelled "moot".)
I agree. Loose/lose drives me crazy too with people. I actually had moot written out before I posted but it didn't look right.
Kansas has to beat Missouri and Oklahoma before they can even sit at the table to discuss playing for the NC. Until then it's more proven college football teams that have the best shot.
They just better hope Mangino the Hutt's heart can take the shock of the win or more likely the NC route otherwise they will have to cart him out. Seriously, the guy needs GB and a salad. I say that with sincere concern, I worry for the dude's health.
Joey said it's pronounced "moo. a cow's point of view. who cares?" this is the sentence that I like the best from the first message---"Kansas is like the best football team in the country" They aren't the best team...they are LIKE the best team. :geaux:
why shouldnt KU be ranked #1 til they lose instead of lower until they beat OU or Mizzou? their sched aint tops but it aint hawaii's either. how many of you have watched several KU games? i havent seen any, but im not making any claims. i think its fair for pollsters to vote based on how a team looks when they play as opposed to rep and stats.
What Dodd fails to mention in his article is that the computer polls, which do not look at history, tradition, etc., do not have Kansas ranked #1 at this point in the season.
