hillarious at the same time. Dodd is calling out Early Doucet, in his article in my opinion.

    KU fan...
I like how you people just sit on here and say that the Kansas Jayhawks would not have a chance at beating LSU Tigers or the Oregon Ducks
I know that they have never played the LSU Tigers or the Oregon Ducks yet ...But never leave the Kansas Jayhawks out of the picture
Kansas is like the best football team in the country
I do think that the Jayhawks beat LSU and Oregon on there own turf
These would be my scores for both games
    Kansas 56
    LSU 24
    Kansas 63
    Oregon 28
    ----------
    Anything can happen
But i like how all you people sit at the computer and say the Kansas Jayhawks dont have a chance at all

For one thing, Oklahoma is gonna beat Kansas so the argument will be a mute point soon. Missouri may beat them too. But maybe if they hadn't played 5 DII-quality teams then they would be #1 right now. I don't know who said it, but Kansas set that schedule up to be BOWL eligible....not National Championship Game eligible.

You may be right, but you have to look at the OU team who lost to Colorado on the road...a game Kansas won.

I hear ya. But teams lose on the road.........LSU lost at Kentucky which looks much worse now than it did then. Kansas has gotten the credit they deserve.....they're 4th in the country. Great season and give them a BCS bowl if they win out. But to say they deserve to be in the NCG over LSU is ridiculous if LSU wins out. They may have an argument with Oregon but Oregon's SOS is about like ours....in the 20's. Kansas is in the 70's.

Kansas's SOS will get a boost if they win out. But so will ours. That is why Oregon needs Kansas to lose more than we do. Their SOS has nowhere to go but down. The only thing that can keep Kansas from jumping Oregon if they win out is the voters.

Personally I hope Kansas does jump Oregon....I'd rather play them if we get to the NCG.

This will obviously change if they beat Missouri and Oklahoma but this is an interesting rebuttal to anyone who is saying Kansas should be #1 ranked NOW.....They've only beaten 2 teams with winning records: 6-4 Central Michigan and 6-5 Texas A&M.

If they win out they will have two wins to close the season out over top ranked BCS teams. It's about like the discussion of whether an undefeated WVU team deserved a shot at the NC game. IMO, if Kansas wins out, they deserve the jump over both teams. Are they better than LSU or Oregon? That can only be determined on the playing field.

With all the horrible grammer and spelling problems on this board you pick out the difference in mute and moot?

At least I get their, there and they're right. Next time I see an error with "their" I expect to see your mug not far behind.

That may be if they win out. But with LSU getting 45 of 60 1st place votes currently, I don't see a scenario of how LSU is out of the NCG if LSU wins out. Oregon maybe.....but not LSU.

I still don't think Kansas should be #1 in the BCS even if they win out. LSU has 3 wins over teams in the Top 25 now. How many does Kansas have? Kansas will have 2 if they win out but LSU will have 4. Oregon has 3 wins over Top 25 teams ranked now too.
