From a non-quarterback position? Via toss, or hand off?
I'm sure he has a better arm than Ware. Might surprise some people . . .

I think we see Magee do that before we see Shep throw one but can never say for sure with Miles.

It is sacrilegious to even mention that possibility on this forum.

I highly doubt it. They'll have to run a few hundred more jet sweeps/wr screens in order to set it up. The fact that Ware already threw a pass and Shepard hasn't answers your question. At most, he will throw one pass. It's clear he won't be used in the wildcat. You also have Magee.

And Randle was a High School quarterback, too.

I think if Miles trusted him to pass he'd have him playing qb. Course, he's got him playing receiver and he hasn't shown much there yet either. Hopefully this year he will. He's slippery out there. Hope he gets to razzle dazzle them.

Shep looks real good at WR right now. He has #2 locked up, but #3 is still up for grabs.

That said, Shep is a WR, not a QB, and not a wildcat QB. No is the answer.

I'm gonna get lit up for this, but not from what I've seen in past scrimmages. He may have done ok in highschool throwing at times, but the few times I've seen him throw it wasn't anywhere near on the level that one would expect from a college QB. I will give him this though, he was quick to make the decision as far as WHERE to throw it, and generally it was the right one.

Mind you, the last time I saw him pass the ball at a scrimmage was maybe last year (not sure about that), and for sure the year before.
