I am a big Miles fan and saying that I have been reading the press lately about how Saban left Miles with all this talent. Not to mention the talent that he has recruited.

The press also seems to think that he will not be able to get a SEC Title much less a National Championship. This talk disturbs me. What do ya’ll honestly think?

I believe he's quite possibly the most underrated coach in all of college football. I also believe if he can put together back-to-back 11-2 seasons in the SEC, he showed he's not a flash in the pan and is consistent. He's going to own Saban in Saban's new house this year and finally, yes, I do think he can win a NC, but there are a lot of good coaches each year who don't.

The more I learn about Miles, the more I believe he's a good fit for our program........shew, Mack Brown showed that anyone has a chance. :hihi:

    Ummmm. Yes. Indeed I do.

He's kept up the recruiting. He's surrounded himself with skilled assistants. He kept the team together through one of the worst national disasters ever. We'll know a whole lot more when this season arrives. But I believe in him.:thumb:

Your faith is admirable, but do you think 'Bama is really THAT bad?

'07 will be much more evenly matched than '06 was. I am not saying I think our boys will beat LSU, but it will be much closer this year.

Don't take this the wrong way, but. I'm having a hard time taking you seriously, considering you have a Moo U avatar, and are calling Bam "our boys".:hihi:
Yeah you already told us why, it just still doesn't give you much cred.

As bad as 'Bama and MSU have been in recent years, I really don't blame you.

Sure, I think he can. And just like every other coach in the NCAA not in the Pac 10, it's going to take a great mix of luck and talent to do it.

Nahh.....I just think LSU is that good. :thumb:

Bama is going to surprise some folks this year, but our boys are very fond of Miles, know what that game means to our coach and our program and they're going to be hyped.

I know won't be a cake-walk but know we'll come ready to play, and Bama's going to get our best shot.

He's been here 2 years, finished #6 and #3. He can finish #1, I really believe. Now there are 10 other teams with a shot, and a LOT has to fall in place for it to happen, but Miles is good enough, IMO. Pelini and Crowton both seem good, Pelini is proven at LSU. Our toughest games are at home instead of on the road like last season.

A great deal will depend on the play of Flynn and 2 new wide outs. And the offense will have to get on the same page as the new offensive coaches.
