Do you think any team will be strong enough to win all 12 games and the SECCG this season ?? I do not . Yet I have found one Bama fan site that says Bama will not break a sweet this season. He got kicked out of Tide fans last year because he posted that Bama would beat LSU so bad , and the Tide fan page thought it would fire up Tiger fans so they booted him . He opened his own page , he is on fire . Bama 63 LSU 0. Of course he says that will be the average for the Bama team this year no team is as good as this Nick Saban team is. I think he is wrong , Bama will lose two game this season.I think the SECCG game may have two teams that have two loses. I believe the SEC is that strong
Re: Do you think and SEC can go 12-0 this season? I agree with you, doubt anyone will run the SEC. I don't think Bama was as strong as their 2 undefeated regular seasons, may suggest. Look at how many SEC coaches lost their jobs after the 2008 season or right around there. Tubby at Auburn, Nutt at Arky, Fulmer at Tenn (Bama's permanent East foe), LSU sacked the co-defensive coordinator mistake. Those are the teams Bama faces every year, and every one was in trouble. Bama in 09 was a very good club and they earned what they got, but look how close LSU was to them with our true soph QB going against their redshirt Junior QB. I think 2 loses for Bama is very reasonable (hope one is to us), and I pick LSU 10-2 in the regular season. We need some improved play at QB and a more physical line play on both sides (which can definitely happen), and we're good.
Re: Do you think and SEC can go 12-0 this season? Florida has the best chance to go undefeated, IMO. @Alabama is the only game they shouldn't be favored in, and on paper LSU is the only other game I would realistically say they would lose. A few years ago @Florida St. would be tough, but they own them recently. Alabama has such a tough schedule that I can see them losing twice and having a chance at the BCS. Same with LSU, since WVU and UNC are really good teams, on a level just below Penn St. I would have to say though that for LSU to lose twice, they would need to beat either Florida or Alabama to have a chance at a BCS game. I just checked Mississippi's schedule and it is terrible. They don't even have a BCS team out of conference game, and their SEC games are Vanderbilt, Kentucky, and Tennessee. I guess you could say they have a "chance" at going undefeated since their schedule is a joke.
Re: Do you think and SEC can go 12-0 this season? so that idiot thinks a nick saban coached team is going to average 63 points per game????
I can see 3 Ls on Bama - Fld, LSU and Auburn. Since my LSU glasses are always golden - I will say LSU runs the table.
OK, it's an intriguing question, period. Not because an idiot fan got quoted on a thread that can't survive their own fan site, lame). You have to put your money on " A" team with a ton of of talent and depth. " A" team with great coaching, tradition, momentum, hungry for success. "A " team that will make your backside quit. OK, enough analysis. It was interesting that Press-Register's annual composite Football Poll, (Lindy's, Sporting News, Phil Steeles, Athlons) has Bama number one this year. Unfortunately, the poll has been wrong the last four years. (Florida being #1 last year) So it's hard to repeat, much less going undefeated. Can an SEC team go undefeated in 2010? Yes, but those pesky bye weeks make it highly unlikely. But who knows, someone has "A" chance.
Re: Do you think and SEC can go 12-0 this season? Ya know what hit me after this statement, Saban's asss must taste really good, because there are a whole lot of people kissin it. Jeeze the lovefest just gets more ridiculous everyday. I'm sure the line is pretty long by now so maybe there will start to be fewer stupid claims like this one.
Re: Do you think and SEC can go 12-0 this season? Has Dingleberry, or as we like to call him Dengis Khan, even coached a team that scored 63 points? He never did while he was here. I think he may have gotten to 59.
