I see. Since we are disagreeing about his motivation, and reading his mind, why do you think he just had a clock? What exactly is it that he built? You are aware it is not hard to make a crappy clock, when one of the parts is a far better clock?

I understand that it functioned and displayed the time as a clock, therefore it's a clock. The case isn't what makes it into a clock, performing the function does.

I don't think anyone claimed he improved it. He wanted to take it apart and put it together inside another case. Curious minds often don't have a point other than exposure to the experience of taking something apart and putting it together again. I took everything I could get my hands on apart when I was a kid.

And you are aware that he knew it was suspicious (his words) and that he attempted to make it less suspicious by wiring it closed instead of the installed buckle, and you are aware his sister claims she was suspended for bomb threats, and you are aware his father is absolutely without question a grandstanding blowhard who got himself involved in the very famous Florida Koran burning even though he lives in Texas, and that he runs for president of Sudan, a country that doesn't have a president, and you still believe the kid lacks self awareness completely, even after told by a teacher to stop showing it, and he continued on, and plugged it in another classroom, even setting the alarm to go off mid class.

    Just an innocent kid, right.

Brown kids never cause problems, they never do pranks right? They must be boring.

Hoax bombs contain hoax explosives. Clocks are not illegal.

How does this make it look less suspicious? It doesn't. He wired it closed because the frame of the pencil case is obviously bent.

That were also bogus. You don't get suspended for bomb threats, you get arrested and charged.

    Islamophobe rant.

Red you are correct, it doesn't make it look less suspicious. Your disagreement is not with me, I am quoting Ahmed.

"I closed it with a cable, I didn't want to lock it to make it look like a threat. didn't want to lock it so it didn't look that much suspicious, so I used a simple cable"

Clearly he knows it does look more suspicious with the wire closure. But brown kids can't do anything like a prank right? They would never, lest we be racists. Brown kids are not pranksters, in fact, brown kids are so stupid they think simple buckle closures are threatening so they innocently replace them with wires. Wires are never involved with bombs everyone knows that.
