What is your knowledge of the past? World Trade Center bombings, 9/11, attempt in Dallas, Fort Hood shootings, Boston Marathon... our knowledge may be 0 but the reality is something else. Now, this was an overated act. It is blown out of proportion. But don't mistake that there is someone, somewhere, here in the USA that is planning something. Not to mention the crazy Americans that are trying to kill citizens. This is where the fear lies. Unfortunately, that fear will result in an overreaction. That is what Bin Laden wanted. A slow crumpling of the system.
There is all kinds of theories out there that this was a staged event. http://www.dallasnews.com/news/comm...rving-shifts-from-celebrity-to-conspiracy.ece I still think it was a kid doing a kid thing. Unfortunately, both sides want to pull it to the extreme. This story should have been a byline on a news report and life should have gone on. No need for trips across the USA or conspiracy theories abounding. Over reaction to the extreme.
We also need to remember not too long ago some Muslim freaks tied to ISIS killed 2 people in Garland, right up the street from Irving, for having that draw the prophet or make fun of the stupid prophet contest, and 2 kids from Mississippi recently tried to join ISIS, and like it or not, Muslim kids blow shit up. What's sad is the kid is the winner in all of this, his little stunt got him his fame and a bunch of scholarship offers so let's not shed a tear for the guy.
just because you are paranoid, doesn't mean they are not out to get you, Shane.....just keep repeating that to yourself.
I don't deny that there may be some splinter cell making plans as I am writing this to you. My point is that there are about 7 million Muslims in this country. Let's just say there are 100 of them who are trying to stage some kind of event. That's .00142 of the entire Muslim population in this country. I definitely believe we have to be vigilant because of those 100 who are out to do no good but not to the tune of stereotyping them all as terrorists because of their religious affiliation. Same could be said of mainstream Mormons vs. the Warren Jeff's sect. agree 100%
That is why the "kill all the muslims" talk is illogical. If we focus on killing the ones that are a problem, it is an achievable task. Trying to eliminate the problem by going after all 1.6 Billion muslims only makes sense to the crazies and the paranoids.
Then why don't more of them stand up to these assholes that are killing them too? Why are they all tucking tail and running away and trying to illegally migrate to other countries instead of standing up and fighting for their own? Why are they quiet when people from their religion commit terrorist acts? Sure there are a few here and there that do, but the vast majority don't, and is it such a bad thing to not want to be around people of that religion? I have no problem with Syrians or Pakistanis, or Iranians who aren't Muslim. It's the ones that are I have a problem with, and I'm not saying I don't think they should be allowed to worship, I just don't want to have shit to do with the ones that do, they can stay in their own country and deal with their own problems instead of always looking to someone to bail them out.
Are the Afghan's who practice bacha bazi okay to kill? Or should we just "look away" even when it's done on a military base?
