have only 2 losses or less next season? or that jordan jefferson is the answer the team needs? we've never done better than 2 losses in a season... with miles. jordan jefferson, while impressive against ga tech, has only started two games and only won one. with lee in we averaged close to 30 points a game. our defense has to start fresh... again. i'm only asking this because it seems that in all of the premature polls we're ranked in the top 10. i don't think we deserve it. more than that though, i think we need to temper our expetations. after the auburn game we all thought that we were much better than we actually are. don't let that happen again. (and yes i'm just stirring the pot)
If my memory serves me correctly we have lost less than 2 games in a season. The 2003 National championship team only lost 1. Maybe you meant recently but you said "Never" Also, I do believe that JJ will improve as will the defense. With a more favorable schedule next year and a few lucky bounces the Tigers could very well be in the hunt for another:crystal:
:geaux: Believe we were 13 - 1 during the 2003 Nat. Champ. season. This included the Sugar Bowl win over Chokelahoma.:hihi: :LSU231:
Don't know how many losses we'll have, but our schedule seems easier. With Jefferson we averaged 34 points per game and he looked world's better than Lee (even in the Arkansas loss). We'll be much better. Not sure if we deserve top 10 ranking going in, but the bowl win did that.
I think we'll only lose two games next season... but I also thought the same last year-only two losses. I didn't think we'd lose to Ole Miss. I didn't think we's lose to Ar-Kansas. I didn't really think we'd lose to Alabama. Maybe I think I think too much... or so I think. So I guess I think I'll wait and watch and not think so much this year.:yelwink2: Don't disturb me when I'm thinking... it only happens once or twice a year.

(Tiger Stadium) TBA Well, if we win the games we will be heavily favored in, and split the 4 tough ones, (Ga Fl Bama Ole Miss), we would only have 2 losses. So I think it is very possible. For this to happen, we need Jefferson to continue his fantastic progression, and we need the new defensive staff to do a very good job of coaching and teaching the new system. With our talent, I see 2 losses in the "regular season" very possible.
I think we are 7-0 when we meet Bama. They pull one out their ass in a squeeker. We get the rest. Yes, we will defeat Florida. Bank it.
Next season hinges on the play of the defense even more so than the play of JJ. I think it was TB3 that alluded to that. If we don't put him in the position of having to come from behind all the time then he'll play steady. Also, if we have confidence in the defense, we can play less risky offense.
