Some may view this as an inflammatory post, but honestly, that's not my intention. I'm generally curious how people feel about watching this year's team play.

Except for little moments here and there, I generally have not enjoyed watching any game so far this season. I've liked the outcomes (except for last night obviously) and I've enjoyed little moments here and there, but overall I have felt extremely frustrated when watching.

This does not mean I'm not a true fan or that I'm going to quit going to the games, so save your predictable 'quit watching' comments. I've tried to remain upbeat and understand that we lost alot of NFL level talent the last couple of years and we're still developing, especially on offense. I have not posted any 'Fire Miles' comments and have generally blasted those that have, but it's tough though because we don't seem to be improving from game to game nor have we yet to put a complete game together all year.

I hope the bye week does us some good and we're able to fix some of the problems we're having on offense.

I do. I will watch every game and watch the D grow into something great.

I will also look for our O to come around and make some plays.

Still, fun to watch the D get better each week.

I hope for all of the good reasons but I enjoy looking forward to next year. I have not even written off this year but what we will have for available talent next year, the potential for great starters, defense outta friggin control, dude...

To foster that hope for next year, I wanna see this year become a steady improvement otherwise were just waiting for this year to end, and I just ain't ready for this year to end. I hope a tough loss and a bye week make for great adjustments. Tough games coming up. I hope we don't just escape this season, I hope we get it real.

If I did so, I didn't mean to imply I'd written them off this year. One loss does not define a season. I'm optimistic that the bye will help us work out some of the offensive issues.

Not even dude, I got what you were saying, just that I am really stoked about next year. I just want for this year to feed that.

I agree, this year so far, it is disappointing in some aspects but it is also fun to watch the D grow into a three headed monster. I hope that continues. I love, just like you, to see talent grow. I also hate to see it wasted as well.

hell i enjoy watching the raiders and kansas city play so that should answer your question.

although, i will say my expectations of this team arent so great so its not as painful when they struggle as it for some others i suppose.

i predicted a 4 loss team so they're ahead of my schedule to some extent. what i do not enjoy is this approach by the coaching staff that this is a 1940 pop warner team given all the skill positions we've bragged about bringing in the last 3 or 4 years.

all that hard work and effort recruiting for what? jacob hester has been gone two years. its time to realize that. we may not get another one like him again. its ok to use the speed and playmakers.

id rather have an undermanned rich rodriguez team playing over its head each week and using every walk-on on the roster while mixing it up. theres a certain energy that the team and fans feed off of when you play to win.

its also suffocating when you play not to lose.

I suppose thats why you felt the need to ask this question. just remember, things usually change over the course of a season and often times coaches are a hard-headed lot and refuse to change until a big loss opens their eyes.

les looked like he was crushed by this loss and that he let our boys down.

    and thats a good thing.

so yes i get excited every day about the idea of watching this team. even after a loss. sometimes seeing it in action is disappointing but i know its going to change for the better.

i just dont like it has to hit rock-bottom (last in offense 6 weeks in) before these high-paid fellas realize they should be ahead of the curve.

I enjoy watching them play very much. I've only been INSIDE TS for a game 2xs... but win lose or draw, i'll never cheer for another team over LSU. Now I just wish we could find a solution to a few lingering issues... but our D has arrived.

I always enjoy watching the Tigers play. I'm not happy when we lose, but I love watching us play.

    I love watching LSU play.

So therefore it follows that I love getting frustrated, exasperated, insanely joyous in an instant, puzzled, ready to murder a referee, absolutely happy, shocked, glad, emo, exuberant, and looking for a cliff to jump off of...all in the span of one quarter of football.

Like McMurphy in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest", football is best watched at my house without medications and with no loaded guns around !!! :hihi:.
