He is a very big man at 6'-6" and 345# for an OG. He is from the state of Alabama and we all know Coach Saban is all over this guy. Thank God that we had and have back to back top recruiting Head Coaches.

Hmmmmm I like the fact that he attended an LSU camp, and said that as a alabama visitor for the lsu game, that lsu blew him away....he sure is a load.

Just read up a little about this guy......the alabama sites refer to this guy as very very flaky, he's an auburn commit who recently decomitted, people around the bama circle say that he has bama listed as a top 3 and they haven't even offered him, but I think the bama fans are pissed at the fact that he said he was blown away by lsu at the lsu/bama game.

He had a Bama offer and was supposed to commit to them but in front of a pro Bama crowd he picked Auburn. Saban told him he couldn't visit anywhere else if he wanted on board but he wasn't liking that much. Decommitted from AU and now both schools hate him.

Like Mickey Johnson but with a little less drama.

:geaux: Looks & sounds like a guy we need to get. Can always use some monsters on the OL. Plus, if he's already pissed off BOTH 'Bama & AU, he's OK with me. :thumb: :hihi: :LSU231:

What I like this recruiting class is we already got QB Rivers commited to LSU. Then if we get Region as well, then Coach Saban should keep his butt in Alabama than try to get a recruit from the state of Louisiana.

Well all we can go on is what he says but I don't get too worked up with his comments. He says we are at the top of his list and if Bama and AU are done with him then LSU seems like a strong possibility. He also likes Wisconsin but I assume distance will play into his decision.

Maybe if we get word that G-Rob is sold on the early playing time in AU then he becomes someone we would put the pressure on to commit.

Bhelm....Does this not seem like the best recruiting class you can ever remember as far as for quality big guys up front on the O and D lines? For some reason to me that and the running back stand out in my mind!

Yes it is a very good OL, DL, and RB class. DL will be one of the best if we land someone like Jernigan to go along with freak and Rasco and/or Ray Drew jump on board.

You can tell from the player interviews, the size of the RBs and OL class, and getting a pocket passer like Mettenberger that LSU is shifting to more of a pro style offense. Can even see this with the OL we are targeting in the 2012 class.
