Andre Sale is the pro style QB that transferred from Tennessee Tech. He's from Baton Rouge, I think. He transferred to LSU in January. He has to sit out 2018 anyway because of the transfer. Sale started seven games this past season at Tennessee Tech before being replaced in November. He completed 58.9 percent of his passes for 217 yards a game, with 8 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
In other words he is a human practice dummy. More interceptions than TD's against lesser competition says a lot. If he isn't good enough to dominate at that level how is he going to be effective against the future Sunday warriors of the SEC?
It's funny that people are frowning on grad transfer player... You think Wisconsin regretted getting Russell Wilson or Oklahoma getting Baker Mayfield... I'm not saying he's either of the 2, but he could be... If he solves the LSU qb puzzle, IDGAF how he got here...
That's just dons role now. Don't take him seriously even though he is. I really don't like Oeaux but this could be a job saver for him.
People who want Oeaux to fail will not be happy about a kid who could potentially save his job. I don’t care who we play as long as our offense can compete. We had bad timing with Mett because our D needed Viagra that year. If we could have put a good defense on the field there is no telling how good that class could have been. As far as Narcisse playing over Brennan I just don’t see it until he can hit passes consistently. If teams know we can’t throw they will beat us like they always do, load the box and dare us to throw. Without dominating rb’s this year that could get ugly. Oeaux wasn’t my choice and I’m not a believer yet but at least he is trying, and I will never pull against my team because I don’t like the coach!
