I saw where Jahri Evans was cut by the Seahawks. I think we should bring him back, for depth and knowledge of the system, if for no other reason. Though it is pretty telling that he couldn't even make their squad, but given how thin and poor the current line is, why not?

According to NOLA.com, Evans has been brought in for a workout. Not sure if he'll be signed, but he should be. Also read where Rueben Randle was in for a workout, after his contract was not renewed by the Giants and he was cut by the Eagles. Dude had 8 TDs last year, so I'm not sure why he can't make a team.

Meanwhile, the negotiations go on with Drew Brees. Latest is that he wants $100 million for 4 years with $60 million guaranteed, essentially a 2 year playing span for $30 mil per. Saints will give him closed to what he asks because he sells tickets even though the cap is already under water and the Saints are rapidly becoming the Ain'ts again

Yep. There's no way this team can be viable with legit free agents with 1 player eating away so much of an already upside down cap. It seems like the Loomis/Payton plan is to try and field a team with hidden gems in the draft, like Pierre Thomas or Colston, when the reality is, they got really lucky with both of those picks.

Done deal....Evans for one year, Grayson waived to make room. It appears Brees is getting a 2-year extension, probably before the day is over.

Why can't we get rid of shitty McCown. Not that it matters but jeez why didn't we keep the Tulane guy they protected forever.

Ryan Griffin....I never understood why they let him go either. As for McCown, if Brees goes down ( a real consideration with this o-line) and we have only one option this year, would you really prefer Grayson to Luke?

    It's irrelevant.
