Why in the world would you think that anything you say would interest a Bama fan. Hell, 90% of the Bama fans don't care what Finebaum says, unlike the fans of other teams....

 

Y'all are so funny. It's like 2009 all over again, how quickly y'all forget.

 

Man .. ya just have to take in consideration that it becomes personal when the media calls your baby ugly.

All we've heard as LSU fans is how Bama is gong to win. They didn't even give us a chance. The difference was going to be TR .. or the difference was going to be our QB play .. Bama's D is better than LSU's D, Saban is a better coach that CLM. The entire media nation was rooting for Bama to win!!!!

And here we are .. LSU fans .. wittnessing one of the finest teams we've fielded in years ... and we're thinking .. hey .. what about our baby?? Our baby isn't exactly ugly!! We're undefeated too .. ya know!!

Turned out, our baby was just as cute as Bama's baby. ... the "kicker" was, our baby had prettier "feet".

 

We gave , and still give , bama credit for being a damn strong football team. A damn strong team that lost to another damn strong football team. In victory or defeat we always give credit where its due.
We won and we have to hear" bama is still better", " bama beat themselves", " bama got screwed by the refs".
Frick that. Not one mention of how our defense rose to the task. How we drove bama back out of fieldgoal range in overtime. Not a word on the run that ford made to seal our victory. Not a word about lsu winning a hard fought game. Bama is too good to be beaten by another team. Only bama can beat bama. Phuck that. I will not accept that. I called it out. I called out the bama posters that come here and take little clips and bring them back to their boards and start threads about them. If they wanted a little post to bring back and talk about, I gave them one that would tickle their fancy.

Bama won in 09 big deal, LSU won in 03 & 07 - Whats your point?

We care about 2011, that is all that matters and is relevant at this point

 

Sorry, I guess my point was a bit obscure. What I find funny is that the things y'all are accusing Bama fans of saying, and thinking, are almost word for word what I heard LSU fans saying in 2009. My point is there is very little difference between LSU fans and Bama fans, despite either groups claim to superiority.

 

Well, each Fan base had their bad apples and diehard fans. I don’t expect you guys to admit that we are better, I said one thing after Saturday, LSU went into T-Town and did what they had to do to win the game. I am not saying LSU is the better team, but I am damn sure not saying Bama was the better team. Some stats shows Bama is better, others show LSU is better, and for an ignorant box score buster, the scoreboard shows LSU is better.

I believe that if Bama would have converted on those FG's, that LSU would have responded, if Bama would have scored, LSU again would have responded.

I believe that regardless of all the "what ifs" that LSU did exactly what I thought they were going to do, Go in there and do whatever necessary to pull out the win. Exactly what they did.

Both teams had missed opportunities, both teams had dropped td passes, both teams had plenty of opportunities to bust it open, but the defense held. Bama got inside the 20, what, one time? Bama’s defense held us twice on 1st and goal.

I can sit here and bring up plenty of plays that LSU didn’t execute properly. Plenty, had we executed on the last drive of the 1st half, we would have had 7 on the board. Had JJ thrown that pass to Shep the way it should have been thrown, over the shoulder, he would have walked in for 6.

When LSU got inside the Bama 40 and was stuffed, we elected to punt and play field position, Saban elected to go for NFL Kicker Talented Field Goals
