A co worker who is a Bama fan congratulated me as soon as I walked in yesterday and shook my hand but then proceeded to say that they gave the game away.

Of course you know I was ready for that.

I told him LSU had the ball inside the Bama 42 a total of 5 times, so we were both close to fg range the same amount of times but we elected to punt and keep field position on our side while you guys decided to try a FG with someone who had only made 1 all year long with 2 misses. I told him that Saban had never valued the kicking position while at LSU and obviously still doesn't at Bama.

    His answer: he will now.

Probably the seam reason we haven't had a stable QB situation in years. Neither Lee nor Jefferson should be the starting QB at LSU's level but historically good defenses for the past 2 years have made them tolerable.

I've always been dismayed at the disrespect kickers get in the game.

Kicking is an integral part of the game. By disrespecting kickers, you're disrespecting the game. People like Mike Golic.

Can you imagine a game without kickoffs, punts, field goals and onside kicks?

Football is about 3 phases. Offense, defense and special teams. The team with the best combination of all 3 is the best team. That is LSU.

to be fair to the fans, the example of "we are the best team, we just didnt execute" is the line and the excuse that comes from the top down. that is pretty much what saban told his team after the game (in other words, he threw them under the bus and blamed them). the players repeated it in all their interviews. of course that is what the fans are saying.... it's the party line!

"we didnt execute" is to deflect from "out coached".

The gumps were delusional before saban got there. In their minds they have always been the greatest program ever and if anything knocked them off course there was always an excuse, a but or if only. Saban is a perfect match for the gumps. He is exactly the same. In his mind he is the greatest coach ever and if anything goes wrong he has a ready made list of excuses and others to blame. I mean this is a guy that won a championship with Mike Shula's players but can't get them to the promise land with his own. He has a losing record to Miles, has lost two in a row and just got beat in the game of the decade in his own house. No way it could possibly be his fault. The gump faithful are lining up now to be thrown under the bus by the genius himself, little nicky saban. They need to start collecting all guns and rope in tuscalooser before next years beat down. There could be more gump losses to suicide than there have been gumps jailed for incest after the Tigers make it 3 in a row.

It really is a tyranny being run down there in Alabama, isn't it?

About as much class as was shown when no mention of the great game lsu's defense played. Only that bama beat themselves. Only that bama is still the best team with the best coach.
Only excuses. The ball hit the wire. Bad call on the int.

Tide fans were on here bustin our chops for weeks before the game but lsu fans have been told not to post on an Alabama forum.

You gave us no respect after our win. Your radio shows give us no credit. Remember you are the better team that beat yourself. We had nothing to do with it. If you would have won, we would have twenty of you on here talking chit. Phuck bama and phuck off.

Bring that back to your conceided arse fanbase and cry over it on your own board. We will see you next year in our house. Enjoy your lesser bowl and don't forget to cheer for the sec when lsu plays in Nola for another bcs championship.

In his defense, he has always hated Bama and has been heckled like hell the last few weeks, so he just needed to get that off his chest I’m sure. I have done it before.

But I promise you this, he is smiling and having the time of his life right now.

Because who cares what the analysts or Finebaums idiotic ass has to say, LSU is 9-0, #1 in the land, has beaten 6 ranked teams, 4 on the road and was the better of the 2 teams Saturday night. Football is 60 minutes and has many dimensions, you win in some areas, and you lose in some areas, but the only one that truly matters, is the score.

Bama can roll on thinking they are the better team, I am fine with that, but we beat Bama, we know that, we control our own destiny, we know that, and we now have 3 more big games to win, and we know that, that is ALL THAT MATTERS

See you next year in Death Valley
