So, every time someone starts to launch the boo bird another fan should stand up and start cheering. I'm sure there are plenty of people that would get the message, who probably feel the same way and would join in. Drown 'em out all night long just the way you would drown out the opposing fans. I really wish I was going to this one ...
Just wondering if there should be big signs like: "NO BOOS PLEASE. OUR BELOVED TIGERS DESERVES BETTER":tigereye:
Yeah, they deserve a coach who knows you can't spike the ball with 00:01 on the play clock and expect to run another play ESPECIALLY in Oxford, MS.......BOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I will not be there but please someone hold that sign up for me.
That has been dealt with, apologized for, and discussed to death on the forum. If you want to rant still, do it on the new forum. And as far as holding up a sign, I'm sure one out of 92,000 will accommodate you
Quite honestly what is the opposite of cheering your team on? As in politics if you don't like what is going on stand up and make some noise about it. If you choose to Boo then stand by your convictions.
Not watch, don't buy tickets, and become a fan of a team that goes undeafeated every year, shuts their opponent out every time, and their coach is named coach of the year every year:grin:
That's how you show genuine disaproval. If LSU suddenly observed that admission had dropped, say, twenty-thirthy thousand, Miles would be gone, and since his coaching is the problem (according to many on this forum) everyone would be happy. The AD is satisfied that Miles is doing well as long as he provides consistently good results and his rebuilding years are still winning seasons and Tiger Stadium stays at the Damn Near Full mark. Everyone gets upset/frustrated when their team loses. On the flip side, everyone on a team, coaches, players, and waterboys makes mistakes. Booing isn't doing anything except showing everyone else (media, other teams' fans, etc) that you aren't happy, and potentially discouraging your team. Like I've said numerous times, criticism is fine, as long as it is objective (ie. no "Miles sucks!") and constructive.
