Please do not boo the coaches, the coaching staff or playcalling during the game Saturday night. It's senior night and there will be recruits watching (along with half of the population of the U.S.). Alot of our rival fanbases are hoping for a complete meltdown, and I hope none of you buy into it. Booing will not solve anything and trust me, CLM already knows how most of you feel about him....there is no need in pouring salt in the wound by booing. It makes you and your university and your football team look bad.....not your coach. Dandy Don posted this on his site and I thought it would be a good idea to post it on this forum. I hope it does some good.
Easy to follow, I never boo LSU. I do hope that the haters realize that with the media attention, they're being set-up to make us look like a team melting down
Only problem is that there are about 70,000 other fans not posting here that will be in that stadium. That plus the other malcontents that are in this forum that may not listen to you.
It's gotta start somewhere. Hopefully if you hear someone around you booing you can tap on their shoulder and tell them to chill out and hopefully they'll listen. I don't want LSU to get a black eye (sorry Jimmy Clausen) b/c of some malcontents.
Great post and an excellent suggestion. However, it won't be followed because our fanbase, which used to be so legendary, is a pale shadow of its former glory. We are quite simply riddled with spoiled brats these days. There will be boos.
There are many good fans still, but there are more than a few that thing we're an abominable team if we don't win every game and shut out every team.
Maybe these two years are purging seasons, reminding them that sometimes we win championships and sometimes we don't
