Do Liberals have more in common with the Tea Partiers than they would like to admit?

Of all those networks, Fox is the only one that would have you believe that your life is in danger unless you stay tuned. I've never seen anyone distort facts and try to steer your perspective the way that they do. I place them one notch below the cartoon network. Don't get me wrong; I don't find any network news station tolerable. But when I do watch Fox, I feel like I'm at a casino: total sensory overload with no sense of reality.
I don't know about 'very', but it's pretty obvious from the last two general elections that the country is pretty well-divided down the middle.
Which has little to do with making them a good, reputable news organization.
Or, alternatively, you now have the choice to get your information from multiple sources, and don't have to rely on the incoherent ramblings of some blowhard to steer your thoughts on a particular issue. I know, it's asking a lot of people these days to think for themselves, but it's a privilege that some of us do enjoy.

I think plenty of people actually reflect when they get a chance. I'm just saying that, unfortunately, they're often reflecting on highly edited, incomplete and editorialized information selected and presented precisely to get them to stay tuned-in just long enough for the next commercial.

I'm only speaking for myself, but my blood pressure and general outlook on life got a whole lot better when I figured out that 85% of the words coming out of the mouths of the people on TV are pure BS, as defined in that awesome little book. Not lies, but BS.

And that's OK. As long as I remember it, I can watch whatever I want and all I get is minimally informed and mostly entertained.

Are you kidding? The North American Union, the Amero, the thing about the dime and Facsism, Petrobras and George Soros, birthers. Isn't he also a truther? I could go on and on and on. He is the worst of many bad pundits from the right and left. He is a conspiracy theorist whack job that no one should take seriously.

I would assume that most of the things he claims about Obama lie somewhere between complete fabrication and willful distortion of the truth.

The sad thing is he doesn't even have to do anything other than report the truth to demonstrate how terrible Obama is. The truth is plenty bad enough. There is no need for him to try and convince people that Barack Obama is going to sign a law that forbids you from selling your house unless it has solar panels.

while beck is surely terrible, he isnt a truther as far as i know. remember obama had nominated that guy for something or other, and beck rode him hard because the guy was a truther, and eventually the dude dropped his nomination or whatever. for that beck is ok in my book, he did his job as a wacko that is right once in a hundred.

Just keep your head in the sand. barry and his associations with the likes of wade rathke, andy stern, jeff jones, jim wallace, cass sunstein and bill ayers is meaningless right?:insane: After you google who these morons are maybe you can tell us why we should not keep a close eye on them. Call him what you will, disagree with his presentation you are free (still) to do that. The man is however very accurate and it is pretty hard to argue it when he calls it months in advance.

Whatever people think Beck is or isn't, when it comes to politics, Beck is a master of self promotion. He has essentially take a page out of Howard Stern's playbook and applied it to his radio show. I am amazed at how many people say:
"I hate Glen Beck, everytime I listen he spouts hate and spews bigortry" or "I love the way Glen Beck calls out Obama".

It probably doesn't matter to Beck whether or not you like his rhetoric, because everytime someone listens, it means;.... $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

This is true 100%. I will add however that if it was all 100% bullchit as some would have you believe then why is it that the left and specifically the ones he headlines his show with so desperately want him off the air? If it were meaningless and not seriously damaging to their cause they would just laugh it off. Funny, they aren't laughing. Instead they try to attack his sponsors, with little to no effect I might add.
