The other question that arises out of that is, do we have enough scholarships for the possibility of those guys.

Heres the scenerio Im running in my head and maybe you can help me with this.

If we have 2 Defensive Line positions left, but Campbell, Dye, and Montgomery want to commit, who do we take.

Or at Safety with Hollomon, Lotson, and Myles. I know we would take Lotson he is a lock.

    But you catch my drift.

We would take Montgomery or Dye, plus Campbell. Ideally, LSU would like to end up with 1 more DE and 1 more DT. DE is a more pressing need, LSU would not "settle" for less at DT and just stick with what they have now.

At safety we want 2. So Holloman or Myles, with Loston already in the stable.

He did not say what class the 5* was in. Maybe SC RB Lattimore could be the guy:shock:.

    Probably wishful thinking.

It also needs to be noted with Vic as DC, I don't think players like JJ are going anywhere when they know they have a good DB coach like Vic. So that should put a end to JJ to Bama rumors. I'm pretty sure hes known for being a great DB coach, not 100% sure though.

He is a DB coach and this is an excellent point.

Can anybody even name our DB coach currently?

    I can't.

A better question is how many leave if the two DC's stay?

Coaches often use the term "5 star" as a way to relate the player's talent to fans - they don't mean that a service has them ranked as a 5 star.

People should keep that in mind with Shannon's comments as well (aka I'm confident he wasn't talking about Randle).
