Re: Darrington Sentimore That still confirms that he is all LSU if we offer and I am confident we will after the coaches get to see him play in person this season.
Re: Darrington Sentimore What is the latest on Sentimore? Is is grades that bad, I thought he was picking them up? :LSU231: :geauxtige
Re: Darrington Sentimore Speaking of making the grade, that would be "Are his grades that bad" :milesmic:
Re: Darrington Sentimore Well he worked all summer just to become eligible to play his senior season. So he has a ways to go before he is out of the woods. His games keep getting cancelled from Gustav but he has one this Sunday. Maybe the coaches will get a chance to see him then.
Re: Darrington Sentimore Names Alabama as the team leading for his services. Not in contact with LSU for quite a while. LSU coaches don't even have his phone number. He will visit this weekend for the MSU game so I think some things might get cleared up about where we stand with Sentimore.
Re: Darrington Sentimore I feel the same way. I think he will be a big time player, plus I dont like seeing a top in state kid leave. Especially for Bama. Hopefully all this gets sorted out this weekend and LSU shows him some love. I think it would be a big mistake to let Sentimore go. So long as he makes the improvements in the class room.
Re: Darrington Sentimore We are his #2 choice and we don't even talk to him. That means LSU feels good about somebody better(McFarland, Campbell) or they are unsure of Sentimore. Seems to me like it will work itself out one way or another. I don't get the impression LSU will lose in this deal.
Re: Darrington Sentimore LSU coaches definetly have a reason for not going all out for him but if we do he is all LSU. Coaches probably are not satisfied with his grades and/or his ability at the DE position. My guess is that there is no need for the coaches to go ahead and secure him now with all the questions we still have about him. If we really want him we will get him but it is better to get a broad picture of how this class develops before then.
