Re: Darrington Sentimore Plus it's the opposing team reporting it, so it would make no sense to post that if it's wasn't credible and true. I think it's a combo of his grades look to be in order and we cannot afford to pass on him because he is that much of a talent. Many reports say he is better than McFarland and just as good as Davenport.
Re: Darrington Sentimore It has been mentioned before, but could we possibly count on Sentimore to play DE? Certainly his build is not prototypical, but with Henson stating he wanted 2 more DE's it makes me wonder a little. I still see him as a DT though. Anyone think he will play DE?

Re: Darrington Sentimore Question:Considering that it is still summer/possibly one week into the school year...how is it possible that he got his grades up all of a sudden? Summer school? Or was it a test score (ACT/SAT)? If summer school, surely one of our resident recruiting gurus would know if he was in summer school or not. Was he?:huh:
Re: Darrington Sentimore Well the way I understand it is he was in summer school working on getting eligible to play his senior season. I am sure the grades are in by now since school has or is starting soon. Could be waiting for an ACT score as well but I am not sure if he has taken it yet. However, I would still believe Les would want to make sure he could keep his grades up. But waiting too long could hurt our chances. If I had to guess I would say Sentimore or his HS coach had a conversation with the coaches and they explained to him that they have always wanted him and went into detail about the conditions. Basically, the way I see it is that he already had an offer but just a conditional one. At 1st he could have taken that as an insult or worried that he was being led on but after a more detailed conversation he now feels they are being honest in their intentions to have him apart of this class and they just want to see him succeed in the classroom.
Re: Darrington Sentimore Thank you. Now that you mention it, I do remember something about him being in summer school trying to become eligible for his senior season...and I remember thinking "CRAP! If he has to go thru all this for his senior season of HS, how does he expect to make it in college??!!" I hope he is somehow able to do just that, though.
Re: Darrington Sentimore Rivals is still not reporting it and I have not seen any articles on it. I doubt seriously if he has an offer.
