Re: Darrington Sentimore :geaux: I hope LSU washes their hands of this guy soon. He sounds like another Luther Davis or something and we don't need him. Good luck at 'Bama or anywhere else but LSU. :LSU231:
Re: Darrington Sentimore This situation is the opposite of Luther Davis but I do know what you are saying. Ego looks to be hurt so it sounds like he is bitter about it.
Re: Darrington Sentimore :geaux: Yeah, the spouting off and percieved hurt feelings, etc. is what I meant. :LSU231:
Re: Darrington Sentimore If he isn't a solid citizen I don't want him. Our other 2 DT's are good recruits and we are a premier program that doesn't have to take a chance on players. I would rather take a chance on a kid with great character and less talent than a more talented player with a shaky past. If the recruit with less talent becomes a good player you can count on him. If the kid with the checkered past becomes a starter you never know when he will get in trouble and leave you hanging. Miles doesn't need the headaches.
Re: Darrington Sentimore Yeah I don't think he is necessarily a bad kid, but he sure doesn't appear mature from what has been written about him.
Re: Darrington Sentimore I'm sure he's a great kid. I mainly concern myself with his supposed habit of 'taking plays off'. I want team players on my teams.. it's a family as much as a football team. You can't let your family down.
Re: Darrington Sentimore Similiar thing was said about Lavar Edwards last year, but we took him. I think it goes a little beyond that, although that's a great point you bring up.
