Re: Darrington Sentimore Just watched 4th Down on Four, and they did a review of all the state championship games this weekend. They talked about the stars like Gavin Webster and Blake Matherne, even showed interviews with them. As for Sentimore, they didn't even mention his name (although one of his sacks made the highlights). The only guy on the Destrehan's defense that got mentioned was Rufus Porter. Destrehan's QB was the guy chosen for the post-game interview.
DARRINGTON SENTIMORE :huh:I watched this kid play in the 5A championship game against west monroe.I can not believe this kid was not even offered a scholarship sentimore had top be the most disruptive player on the field...im confused he has D-1 written all over him. I know miles was waiting on mcfarland but ive watched film on them both and im here to tell you mcfarland was good but i wasnt bnlown away....Sentimore should have been offered
Re: DARRINGTON SENTIMORE I think it has to do with grades. Odds are good he won't qualify. DiNardo recruited a lot of great players that never stepped foot on campus. McFarland wanted to be a Tiger until momma wouldn't let him.
Re: Darrington Sentimore Sentimore's possibility of getting an offer had nothing to do with McFarland. It was his grades and I suspect his attitude. The LSU staff was consistently telling him that his grades have to be at a certain point to get an offer. The fact that he either still has not taken the ACT or just did so did not help his case. Looks like he will be a sign and place with Bama or go the JUCO route if his ACT score is not where it needs to be. (Might need some work on the GPA as well) After that he can start the recruiting process over again.
Re: Darrington Sentimore Well I guess the ACT score is in because his coach is saying his grades are looking much better and still has a good chance to qualify. Look out because there is a chance the rumors are about to swirl. I have no idea if the LSU coaches are thinking about offering him.
