http://lsu.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=424694 (subscription needed) Interesting that both schools he is looking at are schools that are considered very deep at WR... If I am Dixon, I look at the fact that LSU is younger and deeper and QB, so whereas Leak will be gone after this year, LSU will have good passers for years to come.. then of course there is the RP factor...
I'm not sure he has a full offer on the table. There are people close to the program who indicate the coaches wish to see how he performs this year before he is given an 'unconditional' scholarship. They like him a lot and hope he has a great year and will end up a Tiger.
When we beat Florida in Death Valley should give us an advantage. Wasn't Dixon supposed to be one of the best WRs in the country? Why isn't he on the top 100 list? Why would the coaches want to see how he does his senior year? Are there some doubts about him?
Dandy Don has him as his # 1 player in the state. Rivals doesn't have him evaluated yet... Having said that, its possible that they are waiting to evaluate them before fully offering him, but I doubt it. I bet you they have seen enough to offer him a full scholarship...
Rivals had him top100 preseason, then they saw his tape and evaluated his camp performances and he dropped out. Connect the dots.
The reason he dropped so much is because he only ran a 4.65 at the Nike camp. The experts also want to see how productive he is this year now that Perrilloux is gone
Wasn't his ankle hurt or something? Or was that Eugene? He will put up numbers still. Didn't they get that kid from John Curtis to come over and play QB?
